By using Old School Texting (“the Service”), you agree to these terms.
The service
Old School Texting lets organizations send text announcements to subscribers who opt in by texting our number ((435) 244-6244). We are a platform; announcement content is sent on behalf of the organization you subscribe to.
Organization content
Messages you receive are created and scheduled by the organization you subscribed to. They are delivered through Old School Texting, but they do not represent the views, advice, or opinions of Old School Texting. We are a platform provider, not the author of organization announcements.
If you have a problem with a specific message, contact that organization first. You can also report concerns to us.
Organization accounts
If you create an account to send announcements, you are solely responsible for the content you schedule, obtaining proper consent from subscribers, and complying with applicable laws (including messaging and privacy rules).
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, harassing, deceptive, predatory, or abusive purposes.
Enforcement
We do not review every message before it is sent. However, we may investigate reports, monitor for abuse, and suspend or disable accounts that we believe violate these terms, harm users, or break the law. We may remove access with or without notice when necessary to protect subscribers or the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Old School Texting is not liable for content sent by organizations, for actions taken by organizations, or for damages arising from messages you send or receive through the Service. The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS program
By texting a subscription keyword (for example, FOLLOW [handle]), you consent to receive recurring SMS messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel all messages from this service. Reply UNFOLLOW [handle] to stop messages from one organization only.
Accounts
Organizations must provide accurate information. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
